Timber smuggler bbed, illegal logs seized

GAON (HAIBORGAON), April 19:  Rupahi police on Wednesday morning seized a mini truck loaded with illegal logs and also apprehended an illegal timber smuggler near Jiomari in Rupahihat. According to sources, the bbed timber smuggler has been identified as Nur Zamal of Bajiagaon village in Samaguri. The sources added further that Nur Zamal allegedly brought the illegal logs from Parkup Pahar through three special forest gates. This has raised questions as to how he was able to cross the three forest gates and if there was any nexus between him and forest employees at the gates.
