Tinsukia committee TET teachers stage protest

TINSUKIA: The Tinsukia district committee of Sadou Asom Prathamik TET Uttirna Shikshak Samaj (SAPTUSS), while protesting the government’s move against regularization of TET qualified teachers, organized a protest rally on Tuesday and submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia.

The teachers’ body demanded implementation of 7th pay revision, payment of salary at par with regular teachers, abolition of contractual system of appointment and appointment of teachers as per student intake ratio. The copies of the memorandum were also submitted to the Chief Minister, Finance Minister, Education Minister and Commissioner of Primary Education.
