tiol Consumers Day observed in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT, Dec 24: tiol Consumers Day was observed in Golaghat on Thursday under the aegis of Golaghat district administration and Food and Civil Supplies Department.

An open session was held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner where Additiol Deputy Commissioner Soram Khanikar presided over the meeting.

In the open session the Additiol Deputy Commissioner said that every single person was a consumer and as a consumer each and every one should be conscious and aware. Proper awareness could save the consumers from fraud in today’s modern competitive world of global economy.

In the beginning of the session a speech on the objective of observing tiol Consumers Day was given by the Deputy Director of Food and Civil Supplies, Harendra th Doley. In the meeting retail and wholesale businessmen from Golaghat and Dergaon were present.
