tiol Voters' Day observed

BILASIPARA, Jan 27:  Under the aegis of Bilasipara sub-divisiol administration, the 8th tiol Voters’ Day was observed at Bilasipara recently. In this connection, a meeting was held in the conference hall of SDO (Civil) office with Suraj Sanowal, election officer in the chair. Dr Hari Charan Das, librarian of Bilasipara College, explained the significance of tiol Voters’ Day as an appointed speaker.

The meeting was addressed by Dayal Paul and Abdul Khaleque. The election officer administered the oath in the meeting. Thereafter, new voters were felicitated with phoolam gamosa. A few BLOs were also felicitated for their outstanding services.
