tiol Youth Day observed at Haflong

Haflong, Jan 12: tiol Youth Day, on the occasion of the 154th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanda, was observed by Sri Ramkrish Seva Samity, Haflong on Thursday. The day’s programme was started with Mangalarati followed by a spectacular procession with a beautifully decorated portrait of Swamiji starting from the Cultural Hall concluded at Sri Ramkrish Seva Samity premises. This was followed by hoisting of flag by the president of Sri Ramkrish Seva Samity, discourses on Swami Vivekanda, blood dotion and prasad distribution. Swami Vivekanda always believed in the power of the youth to lead and nourish the historical culture of the country and to develop the tion. Philosophies, teachings and ideas of Swami Vivekanda are the great cultural and traditiol assets of India. tiol Youth Day is celebrated every year to encourage and inspire the youth of the India.
