Legislator Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha met with Accident prior to 14th Autumn Assembly Session

Guwahati: North Karimganj Legislator, Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha on Sunday afternoon met with a minor road accident at the Guwahati-Shillong bypass road.

Although there were no reports of casualties, Legislator Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha was reported to be safe and is all set to join the 14^th Autumn Assembly Session which has begun from today.

Speaking to The Sentinel, Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha stated that while passing the bypass road his car got skid off due to spillage of some petroleum-like product on the roadside.

It may be mentioned that the Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha was on a Black Color Innova car bearing registration number AS 01-10D-5001 hit the divider on the roadside thereafter, but no casualties were reported.

Few scratches were seen on the front side of the car.
