Total eight candidates file nomination for 13 Dibrugarh HPC

Dibrugarh: All total eight candidates filed their nomination papers for 13 Dibrugarh HPC before Returning Officer (RO) Pallab Gopal Jha.

The seven candidates who filed their nominations on the last date of nomination on Monday are Pawan Singh Ghatowar from Indian National Congress (INC), Bhaven Baruah of National People’s Party (NPP), and Md. Nurul Huda, Imdadul Islam Saikia, Dr. Titus Vhengra, Rubul Buragohain, Israel Nanda and Apurba Saikia, all independent candidates . BJP candidate Rameswar Teli had already filed his nomination on March 22. The scrutiny of all the nomination papers will be held at Room No 1, the office of the RO of 13 Dibrugarh HPC from 11am on March 26. Similarly, the candidates, if they desire, can withdraw their nominations on March 28 on or before 3pm The polling for Dibrugarh HPC is scheduled on April 11.
