Trained homeguards association to continue stir

GAON (HAIBORGAON), March 6: “All Assam Trained Homeguards Association is not represented only by three homeguards like Deep, Sishu and Hibjul and as we had planned earlier, protest in support of our demands will be staged in Guwahati on March 7 and March 8,” the president and secretary of All Assam Trained Homeguards Association, Anta Das and Kamakhya Das respectively, said on Tuesday. Pointing out a recent news items published in a local daily, both the leaders of the association said that it was nothing but a mere conspiracy against the association. “We will not allow anyone to sabotage our agitation programme, rather we will make it successful,” they said. The leaders of the organization said that those three homeguards, out of some hidden agenda, had tried to divert the homeguards of the State so that the entire agitation programme would be a failure.
