Training on rural roads maintence held

MANGALDAI, January 5: The tiol Rural Roads Development Authority (NRRDA), in association with the Mangaldai Rural Roads and State Roads Division of PWD, on Thursday organized a day-long training on rural roads maintence at Youth Club hall here.  Senior officials of the PWD, mely Additiol Chief Engineer Aparup Barua and Superintending Engineer Suren Das attended the training programme and with powerpoint presentation imparted the technical know-how on proper maintence of the rural roads. Executive Engineer of Mangaldai Rural Roads Division, ba Konwar and Executive Engineer of Mangaldai State Roads Division, Dhruba Deka also took part in the semir. A total of 50 participants, including 15 contractors, four Sub Divisiol Officers and 20 Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers of the district took part in the training programme.
