Training programme

Tezpur, Nov 2: A 10-day long free residential training programme organized by Assam Gramin Vikas Bank, in association with Rural Self Employment Training Programme, on mushroom cultivation started from October 23 and concluded on Thursday here at the ITI campus, Tezpur. The training programme was iugurated by Sadhan Sutradhar, LDM, Sonitpur in presence of Jitendra Kr Sarmah, Director, AGVB RSETI, Tezpur, Hareswar Das, SDAO, Tezpur, Arun Kr Sarmah, Ex Regiol Mager, AGVP, Dip Kumar Kalita, Social worker among others.  The training programme was attended by 31 female candidates from various parts of Sonitpur district, including 11 candidates from Borsola and Dhekiajuli LACs in Sonitpur district, and at the end of the programme, the candidates were distributed chaff cutter, roof and saplings.
