Training sessions begin for the ensuing Lok Sabha election 2019

Silchar: In order to equip the presiding officers with the voting machines to be used for the ensuing Lok Sabha election 2019, training of the officials is underway. The training is being given to the officials at two centres namely Narshing HS School and Cachar High School. The training will be given in two sessions on March 18, 19, 20 and 23. In each room there are 40 candidates receiving training from the experts and overall around 400 candidates are being imparted training in each session. The polling officials are given special guidance on dealing with the EVMs, VVPAT machines and sealing procedures after the poll process so that the voting on April 18 could be done in hassle free manner.
