Trains & Flight services interrupted due to bad weather condition in Assam and other parts

Guwahati: In view of the severe cyclonic storm 'Fani' many flights and trains have been cancelled due to bad weather at Guwahati, Kolkata and other parts of the country.

Indigo Airlines has cancelled the following flights due to bad weather at Guwahati and other northeastern parts along with Kolkata and neighbouring areas. Indigo has cancelled the following flights due to bad weather at VECC-Kolkata/VEGT-Guwahati:

IGO 202 VEIM-VECC

IGO 6906 VEIM-VEGT

IGO 187 VEIM-VEGT

IGO 358 VEIM-VECC

IGO 875 VEIM-VECC

Moreover, Dibrugarh Airport has also cancelled some flights due to the bad weather condition and airport closure at Kolkata. The cancelled flights are flight 6E-455/206CCU/DIB/CCU on May 4.

Flight SEJ 3319/3320CCU/DIB/CCU also stands cancelled on May 4 due to bad weather condition as updated by Dibrugarh Airport.

The Dimapur Airport has also cancelled flights due to severe cyclonic storm 'Fani'. The flight no AIC 710 from Dimapur to Kolkata has been cancelled due to bad weather at Kolkata. Another flight no IGO417 from Dimapur to Kolkata has also been cancelled due to bad weather at Kolkata.

Meanwhile, flights have also been cancelled from Agartala Airport.

On the other hand, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has also cancelled several trains for the safety of passengers
