Truck owner dies

JORHAT, Aug 8:  A truck owner died in a road mishap in JPR railway yard in Jorhat town under Jorhat sadar police station. The deceased has been identified as Pradip Dutta (52), resident of Bas-bari, Rajabari area. The incident occurred on Tuesday when Pradip Dutta was sitting on a Scooty bearing number AS 03-R 2878 and a truck bearing number AS 09-C-3545 coming from Jorhat town to the railway yard hit the scooty and Dutta died on the spot.
