Trump taps retired general, Fox alyst for senior posts

Washington, Dec 16: US President-elect Dold Trump has added retired General Keith Kellogg and Fox News alyst Monica Crowley to his tiol security team. Kellogg was on Thursday med Chief of Staff of the tiol Security Council (NSC). Crowley would serve as senior director of strategic communications for the NSC, Xinhua news agency cited Trump’s transition team as saying. Both would report to tiol Security Adviser Michael Flynn, also a retired general.

“The US is an exceptiol country and these are two exceptiol individuals who have agreed to fulfil the President-elect’s pledge of putting America first once again,” Flynn said. Kellogg served more than 35 years in the US Army and after his retirement in 2003, he was Chief Operations Officer for the Coalition Provisiol Authority in Iraq. Crowley is a columnist for several US newspapers and an alyst on Fox News. She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. (IANS)
