Two arrested for 'unethical' activity

JOYSAGAR, Oct 2:  Two persons were arrested by the mti Police under Sivasagar district on Sunday night for allegedly forcefully using young girls for unethical activity. Bijumoni Saikia (43) and an employee of APDCL, zira, Kumud  Borgohain were involved in unethical business in the mti area for a long time and they were forcefully using young girls for money. mti Police following public complaint and instruction from Sivasagar Superintendent of Police SK Sonowal,  raided a house in Perivari area of mti Chariali on Sunday night and bbed the two prime accused.
Police also rescued two young girls from the house where they had allegedly been kept captivated by Bijumoni and Kumud. mti Police produced both the accused before the CJM, Sivasagar on Monday and they were sent to police custody for more interrogation for three more days, sources revealed.
