Two Bangladeshi tiols held

SHILLONG, Aug 30: The BSF troops of BOP Chichingpara, deployed in South Garo Hills district bbed two persons who were trying to escape towards Bangladesh. Both the persons are Bangladeshi tiols identified as Roman Miya (19), and Asadul Jamal (18) of Samaschura under litabari police station in Sherpur district of Bangladesh.

They confessed that they were infiltrating into Indian Territory from Bangladesh to obtain a consignment of liquor from the Indian associates. In another incident, the BSF troops seized 170 bottles of liquor from the bordering areas of Ryngku and Bholaganj in East Khasi Hills Distt while being smuggled into Bangladesh.
