Two bike lifters arrested in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, Nov 22: Kokrajhar police on Tuesday arrested two bike lifters from Romanpara in Kokrajhar town. The arrested bike lifters were identified as Swmbla rzary (30) of Romanpara and Pobitra Mashahary (24) of Gwjwnpuri, both under Kokrajhar police station. Additiol SP, Kokrajhar, Srijit T informed that the Kokrajhar police had been on high alert after the repeated bike-lifting cases during the ongoing Raax Festival in the heart of Kokrajhar town and checking had been intensified in various roads of the town.  He said the two youths were bbed from a house at Romanpara where a stolen 220 cc Bajaj Pulsar bike bearing No-AS-16B/4096 was recovered.
