Two dead in different incidents in Sivasagar

JOYSAGAR: At least two persons lost their lives in two different incidents which took place on Saturday in Sivasagar.

A fisherman died following electrocution in Alichiga Desangmukh village of Sivasagar. He was identified as Bahadur Mala (52). Sivasagar Police recovered his body and sent it for postmortem in Joysagar Civil Hospital. Meanwhile, a woman died under mysterious circumstances in Cherekapara Dimual gaon of Sivasagar. The woman, identified as Boby Chaulkora (21), was the wife of Sunkon Chaulkora (23) of Cherekapara. Local sources informed that there was a domestic quarrel between the husband and the wife and on Saturday morning Boby was found lying in the balcony with burn injuries. She was admitted in the government hospital but succumbed to her injuries. Cherekapara (Sivasagar) Police have registered a case in this connection and started an investigation.
