Two engineers die in road mishap

DIBRUGARH, April 7: Two engineers were killed on the spot in a road mishap at Lahowal on Thursday at 4 pm. The deceased were later identified as Angshuman Gogoi, Assistant Engineer of electrical division of PWD department and Jinshnu Saikia, Assistant Executive, Engineer of the same department. The accident occurred when both Gogoi and Saikia were returning from Tengakhat Educatiol block to Dibrugarh after attending the Gunumohotsov, lost control of their car bearing registration mo AS-04J-7215 near Ghoramora Tini Ali and plunged into a ditch. The death of two engineers of the same department has cast of pall of gloom in the department and the District Administration. The DA condoled the death of two officers who were killed in the accident while on duty. The State government has declared Rs one lakh ex-gratia to the families of each deceased as an ex-gratia payment and conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved families
