Two fall in GS Road drain

GUWAHATI: Two persons along with an infant were injured on Saturday at ABC footpath when the plank of a newly constructed drain on GS Road footpath gave way.

The infant was saved from falling into the drain after the man carrying him, flung the child away from him as he fell inside the drain. A similar incident occurred on January 23 on GS footpath posing the question as to which is the safe route for pedestrians to walk on?
