Two hardcore miscreants nabbed

NAGAON, May 15: In connection with the recent murder of a police constable at Juria area, Nagaon Police launched a massive search and combing operation against the guilty in the greater Juria areas like Dhing, Balukatia, Rupahihat and Samaguri since Monday. On Monday night around 9 pm, Nagaon Police apprehended two wanted hardcore miscreants from Balukatia and Dhing respectively and also recovered a sophisticated pistol from their possession. According to police sources, the nabbed miscreants have been identified as Shahidul Islam and dreaded dacoit Rahmatullah of Juria Balukatia.
