Two Held for Abducting Minor Girl

JOYSAGAR: Halwating Police of Sivasagar district arrested two youths for abducting a minor girl of Baghjan village under Halwating Tea Estate of Sivasagar on Wednesday night. As per information, the two accused had allegedly abducted a local minor girl on Tuesday evening but villagers were able to rescue the poor girl on Wednesday. The parents lodged an FIR in Halwating PS and following this, police arrested both accused, identified as Rahul Boraik and Dhunu Hussain of the same village.
