Two held for robbery

SHILLONG, April 24: Police on Sunday arrested two persons from Jyllep village who allegedly looted Rs 2000 and a musical device from one Md Salim recently. The arrested persons have been identified as Pyrshangbor M. Syiem (38 and Swendro Shangdiar Shylla. A motorbike (Bajaj pulsar ML 05-0171) was also recovered them. Three miscreants looted the money, woofer music systems and two Bolero tyres from Salim when he along with four other was on the way to Nongjri Market travelling in a Bolero to sell electronics goods. On reaching at Ladbakli Dangar, three boys coming on a Discover bike stched away the money and the goods. Both have been forwarded to judicial custody. One accused, however, is still at large.
