Two human traffickers bbed, three girls rescued

GAON (HAIBORGAON), June 2: In connection with the  kidpping of a girl from Kampur area on May 5, gaon police led by SI Malay Acharya with the aid of Delhi Police recently apprehended two human traffickers from Delhi and were also able to rescue the kidpped girl along with two other abducted females.

According to sources, the bbed human traffickers have been identified as Altaf alias Raju of Jahebad in Bihar and Ram Kesh alias Kishan of Guldhar in Ghaziabad. The apprehended human traffickers along with some local agents allegedly kidpped the girl and maged to bring her to Delhi and they sold her at Rs 40,000 to one Payal, who later sold her to Sunil Jha at Rs 1 lakh.

But soon after the kidpping of the girl, the family of the girl lodged an FIR in Kampur police station and when police started investigation, gaon Police confirmed that the girl had been already sent to Delhi. Hence, a team of gaon Police went to Delhi and with the aid of Delhi STF, South District launched a massive search operation there and during that operation, police and STF personnel was able to b two of the gang. Soon after arrest of the two traffickers, the kidpped girl along with other two abducted females were released and she has already reached her home at Kampur. Interestingly, gaon Police on Thursday noon brought both the bbed human traffickers and also produced them before gaon Court. The police sought five days police custody for further interrogation in connection with the case.  

On the other hand, gaon Police led by DSP (HQ) Sabita Das on Thursday noon picked up a supervisor from the office of Pakhimoria Child Development Project under Social Welfare Department, situated at Deodhar Chariali in gaon for allegedly taking bribe from Kendra Sahayikas for distribution of various materials under various governmental schemes. According to sources, the picked up supervisor has been identified as Juli Bora.

The sources added that there were various complaints against her before the Deputy Commissioner of gaon and the DC instructed the higher authority of gaon Police to make an enquiry against her. On Thursday noon, gaon Police led by DSP Sabita Das rushed to the office and waited there for hours. They detected the irregularities of supervisor Juli Bora and filly brought her to gaon Police Station. Till filing of this report, she was being interrogated and was yet to be arrested formally.
