Two Jawans of Assam Rifles reportedly died in ambush by suspected militants of NSCN-K in Nagaland

Guwahati/Mon: In a major gun battle between the suspected NSCN-K upon the jawans of Assam Rifles, two jawans were reported martyred during the gunfight in between Ukha and Tobu under Mon District of Nagaland today evening.

The gun battle lasted for an hour, as reported by the security forces.

Three more jawans of Assam Rifles were reported injured.

Meanwhile, a unit of security officials and police jawans rushed to the spot.
