Two killed in mishap

Hojai, Dec 19:  Samsul Haque of Nilbagan and Dayal Mazumdar of Howraghat  died in a road accident at Nilbagan in Hojai district on Friday morning.A mini truck loaded with vegetables coming from Lanka ran over a local resident, Samsul Haque, who died on the spot. Six people were injured when the driver tried to escape after hitting Haque, became unconscious and again hit a motorcycle. The motorcycle driver Dayal Mazumdar of Howraghat was taken to Haji Abdul Memorial Hospital of Hojai where he was declared dead. The injured persons are Sadam Hussain, Minul  Haque, Alimuddin, Jamai, Muklesudin and Alluddin. The police rushed to the  spot and the bodies were sent to gaon Civil  Hospital for post mortem.
