Two killed in separate road mishaps

JOYSAGAR, April 18: Two separate road accidents which took place on Tuesday claimed two lives in Sivasagar. Udit Chutia of Charing met with an accident while he was coming home from his hardware shop at Charing Tiniali. He died on the spot. Meanwhile, a student of Sepon Deroighat village died following an accident in the Sepon Halaguri area. The student was knocked down by a motorcycle (AS-04-L-0469). The student was identified as Giasuddin Ahmed (16) and he was studying in Sepon College. Police recovered his body and send it for post mortem to Joysagar Civil Hospital on Wednesday.
