Two Persons Shot Dead and Two Others Injured for Denying Discounts in Varanasi Mall

In a rather shocking and disgusting incident that took place at a shopping mall in Varanasi on Wednesday evening, two persons are shot dead by a man just because the salesman denied giving a discount on the goods bought by the customer.

The incident took place at the JHV Mall in Varanasi inside a clothing store where an argument broke out between a salesperson and the accused over the rate of discount. The customer sought a certain discount on the clothes he chose to purchase, but the salesman denied giving the clothes at the demanded discounted rate which rattled the buyer. One of the two buyers brought his gun out and opened fire on the salesmen present in the clothing store. This resulted in killing two persons on the spot with two others being injured.

The deceased are identified as Sunil and Gopi and the other two who were injured in the firing were immediately admitted to the hospital in a critical stage. The injured salesmen are Golu and Vishal, were admitted at a hospital, where their condition is said to be critical.

This sudden incident of shooting in the mall created a sort of panic inside the mall with the other occupants and customers being petrified. The concerned shop was soon sealed and the mall too was evacuated.

Police says of conducting further investigations into the matter by examining CCTV footage. No one has been arrested so far.
