DIGBOI, June 22: Piya Essai (22) and Preety Essai (17), the daughters of Mu Essai of Guptakutir area near Nepali Thakur Bari under Digboi Police Station, were allegedly kidpped recently by some unidentified miscreants. Family sources added that both the sisters had gone to attend school and private computer class as usual from their residence but did not return. The family members, meanwhile suspecting the act to be a kidpping case, also said that Piya being the eldest was seen depressed after her poor performance in the HS examition while the younger sister Preety, a student of Class IX, was also seen not interested in studies. Based on the FIR, a case has been registered at Digboi Police Station at 132/2017 and prosecuted u/s 363.
