Two unidentified bodies recovered

NORTH GUWAHATI, April 19: Two unidentified bodies were recovered from Brahmaputra today at Amingaon on the Guwahati outskirt. The body of a 50-year-old man was found floating near the river bank at Madhya Mandal under North Guwahati police station while body of another unidentified man, aged around 40 years, was found floating in the Brahmaputra at Amingaon. The River Police have sent the two bodies, which were recovered by a joint team Amingaon and North Guwahati police, to Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for postmortem. It may be mentioned that bodies of two teeged girls, one hand of each tied to the other, were found floating in the Brahmaputra at Rojaduar ghat of North Guwahati on March 25 this year.
