Two unidentified miscreants allegedly demanded money from Tinsukia Medical Store at Gun point

Tinsukia: Two unidentified miscreants allegedly demanded money from one medical store owner at gunpoint on Monday evening at around 10.20 p.m in Tinsukia town.

The incident was reported from Tinsukia's Trina Medical store at Pachali area. The miscreants came on a Pulsar bike and demanded cash, and later escaped with the vehicle of the medical store owner.

The store owner was identified as Khirod Rajkhowa.

Speaking to The Sentinel Digital, the owner of the Medical Store, Khirod Rajkhowa said that he was about to leave for home when two unidentified miscreants entered into the store and demanded money at Gunpoint. Later, they escaped the place with his pleasure scooty.

Rajkhowa also registered a case in connection to the incident at Tinsukia Sadar Police Station.

While talking to The Sentinel Digital, the officer in charge, Tinsukia Police Station, Deepak Tamuli said that we have registered a case as per the statement was given by the Trina Store owner Khirod Rajkhowa on Monday evening. We have started our investigations in this regard.

No arrests have been made so far, informed the officer in charge.
