UAE committed to fighting extremism, terrorism

Abu Dhabi, November 30: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will continue the fight against terrorism which goes hand in hand with extremism, a senior official said here on Monday. The war on terrorism begins with a fight against both its funding, and extremist educatiol and fundamentalist curricula which encourage its growth, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash said. Fighting extremism and terrorism requires global collective efforts, Gargash said, addressing foreign jourlists ahead of the Gulf country’s tiol Day, which falls on December 2, Xinhua news agency reported. “Terrorism targets Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Belgium, France, Kenya, and Tunisia, and all countries are facing a global challenge, so dealing with it must be from this standpoint, and each region should study its circumstances,” Gargash added.
