Udit lifts Asian Division I title

GUWAHATI, May 13: Udit Gogoi lifted the Asian Division 1 Tennis Tournament of ITF title which concluded yesterday at Nonthaburi, Bangkok. In the boys U-14 singles final Udit Gogoi (India) beat Chak lam Coleman Wong (Hong Kong) by 6-2,6-2. The All Assam Tennis Association congratulates Gogoi for this major achievement of winning the Asian title. However in the same tournament another player from Assam Kristi Boro lost in the girls U-14 singles 2nd round to Sri Lankan teenager A Kurega 1-6, 1-6.
