ULFA (I) linkman apprehended by Indian Army in Joysagar

Joysagar: The Indian Army apprehended an ULFA (I) linkman from the Rang Ghar Chariali area under Joysagar Police Station of Sivasagar. The accused was identified as Safiqul Hazarika (28) of Dhuliapara village in Joysagar.

One pistol with a bullet magazine was also recovered from his possession. Meanwhile in another incident, a bike lifter - Merajul Hussain (41) of Sivasagar Babupatty area - was held by Sivasagar Police recently. A bike (AS-04-N-8887) was also recovered from him. He had stolen this bike from one Ashik Agarwala.
