ULFA (I) linkman arrested in Charaideo village

JOYSAGAR/Demow: One Bolin Baruah (42) of Khaloighugura gaon under Bokota PS in Sivasagar district was arrested by a joint team of CRPF and Assam Police on Wednesday night from a remote village of Charaideo district. As per information, following secret tip off, the joint team launched an operation in the village and was able to apprehend the suspected ULFA (I) link man. According to sources, One .22 pistol, 6 rounds of live bullets, one magazine of AK-47 rifle and some objectionable documents of the outfit were recovered by the police team from the possession of the accused. Bolin has been brought to Bokota PS for further interrogation, the sources added.
