Unit II of NTPC synchronized

KOKRAJHAR, Feb 15: The team of NTPC, Bongaigaon has shown its dedication once again by test synchronizing successfully the 250-MW capacity second unit on February 13. This was informed by Assistant Mager, Public Relation, Priyanka Bhuyan. The first unit of the station is generating sustaible commercial power since the last 10 months and synchronization of unit-2 added a new feather to the cap of NTPC, Bongaigaon. It is expected that the said unit will start commercial generation from April, 2017 onwards, of which Assam will get 50 per cent of the generated power.
