Veteran Actress Reeta Bhaduri dies at 62

The beloved mother of Indian soap operas and films Reeta Bhaduri, died last night after suffering kidney ailments for years. Bhaduri spend her life with film industry more than three decades doing 70 movies and 20 serials. She was last seen in Star Bharat's serial Nimki Mukhiya.

Born on 4 November 1955 at Lucknow she is popularly known for Bollywood movies like Sawan Ko Aane Do (1979)and Raja (1995) and she was awarded Filmfare Award. Rita Bhaduri was a renowned Gujarati film actress. Bhaduri doesn't have a Gujarati origin but she is considered as one of the most successful actress of the Gujarati film industry.

Reeta Bhaduri appeared in Indian television serials like Kaajjal, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Choti Bahu, Bani-Ishq Da Kalma, Aaj Ki Housewife Hai...Sab Jaanti Hai, Kumkum, Khichdi etc.

Raazi actor Shishir Sharma took to Facebook and said “We deeply regret to inform you that Reeta Bhaduri has departed for her journey beyond. The funeral rites will be held on 17th July, Tuesday at 12 noon at the Cremation Ground, Parsi Wada Road, Parshiwada, Chakala, Andheri East. Extremely sad.. lost a wonderful human being .. a mother to many of us.. will miss u Ma…”

The television industry expressed their deep condolences when the news of the actor's death broke out. Actor Vivek Dahiya tweeted, "Woke up to this news! A brilliant actress and quintessential mother on screen. Saddened and at loss of words! #RIP #RitaBadhuri".

"It saddens me to inform you all that actress #Rita Bhaduri is no more. Besides being a great actor, she was a great human being. May her soul rest in peace." Actor Salil Sand tweeted.
