Veteran Communist Party of India leader Drupad Borgohain’s demise condoled

BILASIPARA: Veteran leader of Communist Party of India and former MP (Rajya Sabha) & MLA Drupad Borgohain’s demise was condoled in a district council meeting of the CPI in Dhubri recently with Nasir Uddin Ahmed in the chair. Dayal Paul, district secretary, of the party explained the life and works of Drupad Borgohain. The meeting expressed profound grief and sorrow and condoled the death of the veteran leader and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended fellow feelings to the bereaved family members. Earlier, the party flag was kept the half mast in front of the party office.
