VM Trophy: Jharkhand in driver’s seat against Assam

GUWAHATI: Two splendid knocks from Shikhar Mohan and Aryan Hooda put Jharkahdn in driver’s seat against Assam in VM Trophy tie at Abhayapuri on Sunday.

Elected to bat, Jharkhand scored 375-2 on day I and both the batsmen scored century. Aryan and Shikhar, opened the innings for Jharkhand, added 311 runs on first wicket playing 75.4 overs between them. Shikhar scored 118 with the help of 21 boundaries while Aryan hit 28 boundaries on way to score 182.
