Voter Awareness Forum (VAF) At Buddha Peace Park, Bomdila

BOMDILA: To ensure that no voter is left behind, the Voter Awareness Forum (VAF) in accordance with the directives of Election Commission of India (ECI) was launched on Wednesday in the district at Buddha Peace Park, Bomdila. As ordained, outdoor activities to mark the launching of VAF was orchestrated in the park. Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) from Government College Bomdila performed Street plays and musical skit on the importance of ethical voting. Students from Government Secondary School, Kakaling performed on the lines of awareness and free and fair election.

Earlier, AERO P Monpa, EAC and DNO (SVEEP) G Taga, DIPRO reiterating on the importance of SVEEP activities said that the VAF being launched on the day simultaneously all over the country along with activities to run campaign for Voter Verification & Information Programme (VVIP) in the state would go a long way in enhancing electoral participation.

To mark the day, pledge on ethical voting was administered by AERO P Monpa.
