Voters awareness programme held in Gossaigaon

Gossaigaon: A voters’ awareness programme with the theme ‘No Voters To Be Left Out’ was held at Gossaigaon Boys’ Higher Secondary School on Saturday.

The awareness programme started with a rally from the school field to the market and then back to the school where an awareness camp for students and new voters on EVM and VVPAT was held. An officer of the administration acted as the resource person. He gave a demonstration on the EVM and VVPAT machines as well as explained the importance of every individual vote.

Amit Parbosa, Magistrate and EAC Gossaigaon subdivisional office, along with the teachers of the school were present during the awareness meet.
