State Minister Kumar Waii inaugurates walking trail, officers mess

ITANAGAR, July 12: State Minister for Home, UD & Housing Kumar Waii in the presence of DGP SBK Singh, inaugurated a walking trail and officers mess at 1st AAPBn ground at Chimpu on Wednesday. In a brief interaction with police personal, Waii stated that everybody should remain fit and use the walking trail for healthy living and to stay fit. He also quoted that “Subha ka hawa - lakho ka dawa”, while encouraging the personals to wake early and to maintain healthy body and sound mind. The mess building is funded under Non- Lapsable Central Pool Recourses (NLCPR) under the Ministry of DoNER, with an objective to conduct important meetings as well as to provide accommodations to senior police officers and sub-ordinates officers. The mess building comprises of single AC rooms, double AC rooms with balcony, VIP suit with balcony, reception, lounge room with rest room, library, gymnasium, dining hall with bar, kitchen, pantry & store room. The Arunachal Police Housing & Welfare Corporation Ltd is the executing agency.
