Wallace poised for Gremio loan

Rio de Janeiro, Jan 2: Brazilian football club Gremio have reportedly agreed to sign Chelsea left-back Wallace on a year-long loan. The 21-year-old joined Chelsea from Fluminense in 2013 and had loan spells at Inter Milan, Vitesse and Carpi. Gremio are awaiting documentation from the Premier League club before confirming the deal. The move would make Wallace only the second Chelsea player to be loaned to a non-European club. Gremio finished the 2015 Brazilian Serie A season in third place, earning them qualification for this year’s Copa Libertadores. IANS
