Warden assaulted by inmates

SHILLONG, Feb 4: A warden of the Shillong District jail was injured on Saturday after he was assaulted by inmates. According to police, on Saturday morning at around, 9.30 am to 10 am the warden, Chinmoy Hajong (24) was assaulted when he detained them for breaking a tube light in the jail. The warden sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
