Woman, son among three Indians freed by Dhaka

Agartala, Feb 5: A young woman and her six-year-old son were among three Indian tiols freed by Bangladeshi authorities, police said on Sunday.

“The woman had eloped with a youth and crossed over to Bangladesh in February last year. They were apprehended and jailed,” a police official said here.

After being in jail for a year, the three returned to their homes in Belonia in southern Tripura. (IANS)
