Woman stabbed, admitted to hospital

Shillong, July 16 : A woman was injured on Sunday morning after she was stabbed by her husband. According to the police, the assault case was reported from Mabisu village under East Khasi Hills district. The victim has been identified as Darilang Kurbah (28). The victim sustained stab wound on the right lower abdomen and has been admitted to the Shillong Civil Hosipital. The husband, Tyngshain Rani was also injured in the scuffle with his wife. Police said that the incident occurred when the two had an argument over some matter. Meanwhile, in an accident case between a scooty and a car at Pomura village in East Khasi Hills district one Firmly Ryngkhlem (27) was injured and has been admitted to the NEIGRIHMS in semi conscious state. In another accident reported from Jhalupara locality of the city, one Vishal Sharma (17) was injured when his scooty skidded.
