GUWAHATI, April 11: Jourlists are supposed to have the basic knowledge of the whole gamut of disciplines which they are to cover while rendering services to their target audience. This, however, rarely occurs among the media persons. In order to make that happen, Vigyan Prasar of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, along with the Department of Science and Technology, Assam, Astronomical Society of India, ISRO’s Sattelite Centre, Bangaluru and the Intertiol Science Educator and Communicator Forum today iaugurated a two-day workshop on ‘Introductory Concept in General Science and Technology, including Astronomy and Space Science at Guwahati Planetarium today.
