Workshop on Jal Kranti

SHILLONG, Dec 23: A One Day Workshop on Jal Kranti Abhiyan organized by the Meghalaya Water Development Agency (MeWDA), Department of water Resources Meghalaya in collaboration with the Central Soil & Materials Research Station (CSMRS) New Delhi held on 22nd December, 2015 at the Multi Purpose Hall, Mendipathar. L.Ch.Marak, ADC graced the occasion as the Chief Guest which was attended by hundreds of students and farmers. It may be mentioned that the Jal Kranti Abhiyan is a scheme aims at transforming one water scared village in each District of the Country into water surplus village.
