Workshop on media & its expanding dynamics

Gohpur, May 28: Turning Point Institute of Media & Creative Skills, a premier media institute of Guwahati organised a daylong workshop on Media & Its Ever-Expanding Dynamics recently at PWD Convention Centre in Guwahati. Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University Dr. Mridul Hazarika, Police Commissioner Hiren Chandra Nath and other dignitaries were present. In the beginning, director of Turning Point Wasbir Hussain delivered the welcome address.

This was followed by felicitation of the guests. Then the guests spoke about the subject and appreciated the initiative of the institute. Dr. Mridul Hazarika emphasized on the role and responsibility of educational institute to upgrade the Assamese media. Hiren Nath gave some interesting suggestions to the students about his experiences. Paragmoni Aditya and Pranay Bardoloi spoke about various technical and practical aspects of journalism in their inspirational speech. There were seven topics of the workshop. In each session, the speech by the resource person on the specific speech was followed by an interaction with the students. Almost 80 students of the institute have actively participated at the workshop. The workshop was supported by State Bank of India.
