World Environment Day observed at BU

KOKRAJHAR, June 6: Bodoland University (BU), under the initiative of Director of Students’ Welfare office, planted several saplings inside the university campus as part of World Environment Day celebration.

Dr. HK Sahoo, Director of Students' Welfare, BU, iugurated the programme and delivered lecture on the importance of planting trees in today’s world. Amariah rzary, general secretary of the students’ union, welcomed the gathering. Students, employees and teachers of the university took part in the plantation of saplings.
